More to chocolate
It all began with a tourist visit to a cacao plantation in the Caribbean in 2011 and an idea that just wouldn’t go away: there must be more to chocolate. This curiosity sparked a journey that led me to become a Level 3 certified chocolate taster with the International Institute of Chocolate and Cacao Tasting, a chocolate educator, and now a self-taught chocolate maker. Today, I am proud to be one of the very few bean-to-bar makers in Devon. Through years of exploration and dedication, I can confidently tell you that there is most certainly more to chocolate!

Small is beautiful
In my tiny Exeter chocolate factory, I create micro-batches of chocolate, each weighing 5kg or less. Every step of the process is handled with great care to nurture and enhance the natural flavours of the cacao beans. It all starts with sourcing exceptional quality cacao, chosen for its outstanding flavour profile. Using my extensive experience in chocolate tasting and cacao evaluation, I meticulously select beans that promise to deliver a remarkable taste experience. Flavour is always at the forefront of my decision-making, ensuring every batch is a delight to the senses.

Simple Ingredients

Great chocolate only needs two ingredients—cocoa beans and sugar. In my bars, you’ll find only natural, simple ingredients that enhance the unique flavour and personality of each bean.

Small Batch

Crafted in micro-batches, each chocolate bar is made with a dedication to hands-on, small-batch production. Every bean has its own unique flavour profile, and my job is to let this shine in every batch.

Fair & Transparent

I buy from a speciality cacao importer who works closely with cocoa farmers. These relationships are built on respect, trust, and transparency, working together towards a better future for chocolate.
